Hy my lovelies….

To think that once upon a time I hated the color orange, and to prove that to you, this orange colored shiffon top I have on is the first I have had in my twenty something years of existence. I just had the notion that it wasn’t the best color for my skin tone and secondly it is a very loud color ( I did not want to be noticed, my height was already doing that job). I have no idea how I managed to buy this top, and after two years of it laying down in my wardrobe I decided to give it a try. I was disappointed in a good way.

With the way this color is popping on me, I take back all the negative notion I had about it in the first place.

My expectations skyrocketed from zero to one hundred. Summer is definitely my favorite season because you get to play around with colors of different sort not to mention the beautiful flowers.

I paired my chiffon top with black jeans just because I was trying to play safe, and of course my favorite pair of sneakers which am sure by now most of you guys are used to seeing in my pictures.

A pair of hoops to accentuate my face.

I am stepping out of my comfort zone and trying out more colors. No more assumptions. On a side note if you haven’t read my post on assumptions click here trust me it’s a must read.

Do you have any colors you have sworn you can never have on? Let me know in the comment section.

I think at this point I can boldly say summer is finally here to stay, so while we enjoy and appreciate this amazing weather we have been blessed with, here are some colors you shouldn’t shy away from this season. A touch of any one of this colors in your wardrobe can make a big difference, you would agree with me that colors such as black, grey, deep brown e.t.c can get boring so spice up your wardrobe this season with the latest trending colors.

Lavender: this color will dominate the whole summer season. Romantic yet elegant, you can wear it on a masculine suit or a gown. There is a lot of beauty and calm attached to this color.

Purple: embodies the balance of red’s stimulation and blue’s calm with a sense of mystic and royal qualities, purple is a color often well liked by very creative or eccentric types and is one of the favorite colors of this season. The color purple is specifically associated with royalty and the nobility, creating an impression of luxury, wealth and extravagance.

Bright Red: A totally bold, entrancing hue. The color red is a warm and positive color associated with our most physical needs and our will to survive. It exudes a strong and powerful masculine energy. It is one of those colors that captures the attention of people when you walk by and it’s definitely a trendy color this season.

Yellow: The color yellow isn’t one of my best colors but I am beginning to develop some kind of likeness for it, it is definitely one of those colors that do not require any effort for it to stand out. If you are looking to have more fun with your outfits this summer try the color yellow.

Sky Blue: This is one of my favorite colors and I can definitely say this color favors both the extremely macho man and the super feminine woman.

Green: This is one color you don’t see people wear most of the time, but I am glad it’s on the runway this season. Green promotes a love of nature, and in my opinion the color green speaks of growth. Show the color green some love this summer.

Blue: one of those colors I get really attracted to, so it’s no surprise that it is trending this season.

Thank you so much for stopping by I really appreciate your love and support.
