Hy Guys….

Hope you are all enjoying your weekend? It’s a busy weekend for me, but it’s going on smoothly.

The floral print was one that hit the runway so hard in spring of 2017 and I must say it has made a major comeback this season. Designers like Loewe, Emilia wickstead, Chloe and Rocha lit up the runway with their beautiful floral prints.

As you can see I have on a high waisted, below the knee  pencil floral print skirt. what I really love about this skirt is that the prints have practically 80 percent of the color pallets which are really trendy this summer. Click here to check out the summer color pallets for 2018. The floral print doesn’t require much effort for it to stand out, it automatically speaks for itself.

I paired my skirt with a white high neck sleeveless crop top to give me a chick look. The floral pencil skirt can also be styled with a denim top, a white T-shirt or what ever color of shirt you prefer as long as the colors match. If you want a more classy look, throwing on a pair of blazers with heels would do the trick.

As much as I love my sneakers I love me some pair of heels also, so i took pictures with both just to see what it would look like and honestly I can’t say which I prefer more, I really loved both looks.

I got the fabric from a textile shop and my seamstress whom you can find here made the skirt.

I think at this point I can boldly say summer is finally here to stay, so while we enjoy and appreciate this amazing weather we have been blessed with, here are some colors you shouldn’t shy away from this season. A touch of any one of this colors in your wardrobe can make a big difference, you would agree with me that colors such as black, grey, deep brown e.t.c can get boring so spice up your wardrobe this season with the latest trending colors.

Lavender: this color will dominate the whole summer season. Romantic yet elegant, you can wear it on a masculine suit or a gown. There is a lot of beauty and calm attached to this color.

Purple: embodies the balance of red’s stimulation and blue’s calm with a sense of mystic and royal qualities, purple is a color often well liked by very creative or eccentric types and is one of the favorite colors of this season. The color purple is specifically associated with royalty and the nobility, creating an impression of luxury, wealth and extravagance.

Bright Red: A totally bold, entrancing hue. The color red is a warm and positive color associated with our most physical needs and our will to survive. It exudes a strong and powerful masculine energy. It is one of those colors that captures the attention of people when you walk by and it’s definitely a trendy color this season.

Yellow: The color yellow isn’t one of my best colors but I am beginning to develop some kind of likeness for it, it is definitely one of those colors that do not require any effort for it to stand out. If you are looking to have more fun with your outfits this summer try the color yellow.

Sky Blue: This is one of my favorite colors and I can definitely say this color favors both the extremely macho man and the super feminine woman.

Green: This is one color you don’t see people wear most of the time, but I am glad it’s on the runway this season. Green promotes a love of nature, and in my opinion the color green speaks of growth. Show the color green some love this summer.

Blue: one of those colors I get really attracted to, so it’s no surprise that it is trending this season.

Thank you so much for stopping by I really appreciate your love and support.
